My dd, age 9, entered her first feis (Irish dance competition) today and took first place in beginner reel!!!!
I'm so proud, especially because she has worked hard all week in spite of excruciating blisters. ("That's why they call them 'hard shoes'," says her teacher.)
Just had to share!
