Okay all you computer gurus (or your dh!).

I'm in need of a good software program to make a hard drive back-up. I don't have a zip drive, and I'd prefer to have files copied onto cds.

I'd like some options: 1) compressed back-up 2) ability to choose files 3) easily readable files, without requiring special software if cd is used on other computers.

Any hints?

I don't know the answer to this, but those USB flash drives hold a lot... and they also have separate hard drives so to speak that also uses a USB cable. I backed up onto one of them (I was afraid of losing the small flash drives). It was pricey -- about $100 bucks but it holds a LOT -- can't remember the size though.

Jenn does you computer have a DVD burner? That's how I back up. I grab all the stuff I want to back up and burn it onto a DVD - they hold a lot of files and it's easy to access and/or restore if I need it (I have!)

My dh had me get a new SanDisk and told me to stick it in my bra.
