I am looking for no caffeine, non-alcohol drinks to make for hot Summer days here in NC .

Any great recipes out there?

A favorite drink here is Tazo Passion Berry Tea with lemonade concentrate. It tastes just like the one from Starbucks and doesn't cost $4.00 . You can also use lemonade instead of concentrate, I was just getting tired of making lemonade all the time, so I dumped the concentrate in the pitcher.

Thank ou!

The last box of Tazo Passion Berry tea I bought the bags were pitcher size. When I buy the box of individual bags I use 4-5. Then I just scoop out some of the lemonade concentrate. I make 3-4 pitchers from each can of concentrate.

Frozen lemonade or limeade concentrate diluted with club soda instead of still water (and I make mine a little weaker than the directions call for, too). Serve over ice.

This is our family's all-time favorite.

Here is a fruity-sherbet drink:
3 cups chilled raspberry-cranberry juice drink
1 quart raspberry sherbet, divided
1 liter (4 cups) chilled Sprite/ginger ale

Mix 2 cups sherbet and juice drink in a pitcher. When ready to serve, put one scoop of sherbet in a glass, fill halfway with juice mixture, and pour Sprite over it until foam reaches the top of the glass.

This is a spicy/tangy tea drink:
6 cups water, divided
6 tea bags with orange and spice flavor
1 large frest mint sprig
1 can frozen orange-peach-mango juice concentrate (12 oz can)
1/4 cup sugar
Ice

Boil 4 cups water, place tea and mint in bowl and add boiling water. Let sit 5 min, then remove tea bags and mint.
Put 2 cups water, juice concentrate and sugar in a pitcher, add hot tea. Mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours/overnight. Serve with ice, garnish with orange and mint if desired.

*You can also substitute frozen cran-raspberry juice for the orange juice. Or substitute whole cinnamon and cloves for flavored tea bags. 1 stick, 6 whole cloves and regular tea bags in the bowl.

(I also have a recipe for an iced latte, if you are interested! )

1 C or more frozen mango
1 C vanilla ice cream
1 C fruit juice (less if you want a thicker shake)
add frozen berries if desired.

blend all in a blender until smooth.

I like to make peppermint iced tea by tossing two peppermint tea bags (herbal/ decaf) in with my regular iced tea bags (decaf also). You could also do the same with the other herbal flavors like peach and raspberry.

Here are some more links to check out, Jenn. Currently, I'm doing a ton of club soda/seltzar with syrups (ginger, chai, rootbeer) that dd makes or a squeeze of lemon or lime.

Love,

I have been doing alot of seltzer water or club soda mixed with frozen juice concentrate. I really like limeade or cranberry. I wayyy dilute the juice too. I often add a squeeze of lemon or a few sprigs of lemon balm or mint. Very refreshing.
