Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is it OK to be a proud mum?I have posted some picures of ds and the other postulants before they left and their first week at St Fidelis on my blog. As you can see its not all about study!! Ds is the one in the middle of the first picture and you should spot him   in two of the others .(glad he didn't get to bring that washing home!!)

thanks Anne

I just got an e-mail from ds today, he says the townsfolk have been really friendly/welcoming. This week his ministry work will envolve working with the mentally disabled (which he did in Sydney in his postulancy too). He describes the scenery as flat with lots of wheat fields. And he said no tornadoes...yet!!
