She is a novice now, and her new religious name is Sister Grace! It was so wonderful, I can't even express the joy I am feeling now. I hope you don't mind me sharing photos of the event. I uploaded them to Photobucket and I have noted the url below. I hope it works! I didn't get them loaded in correct order, but I will briefly tell you what they are so you will know a little more! One is dd in her/my wedding gown before the ceremony (did I cry when I saw her,oh my yes!) then there is a photo of her going forward in her wedding gown with mother and another sister she is going forward to the Abbott for the investiture. Then there is a photo of her after the Abbott has cut her hair. She then left with Mother and the sister to remove the wedding gown and to put on her tunic (and have her hair shaved more) Then there is a photo of her returning in the tunic and black lace veil, she the kneels again at the Abbott's feet and he starts with the cincture, then come the scapular,the wimple and last her white veil. Then there are photos of her with mom and dad and then one of her with her siblings (all of them except her brother in Iraq). I thank all of those who prayed for us this past week! It was a rough one but so worth it!!

Jackie, I've not followed the entire story, but I have to say, you are so blessed!!!! I can only imagine how emotional that day was for you (shoot, any mother one her dd's wedding day would be emotional...much less when the son in law is CHRIST!!! )...
Now, are two of your sons priests or seminarians? I think that you have definitely done a bang-up job with your family...and you are so terribly terribly blessed...I can only pray to be so diligent and blessed, in the end....

I could cry....I am pregnant with my first daughter....how absolutely beautiful Sr. Grace is...I can only pray my little girl is as radiant on her wedding day, whomever God choses as her spouse!! Thank you so much for sharing!
