Does anyone here do this?
My son is interested in doing this, but I know nothing about it. How easy is it, and why are they asking for a credit card from me (he's already started to set it up)??
I'd appreciate any info you can share.
Thanks!

It is easy. They credit your credit card when he makes a sale--that's how they pay you.

Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, now I get it! I'm really slow at some things.......
Now, we're talking about used books - or did you already figure that out or does it not matter?
Whispering to myself "There is no such thing as a stupid question, there is no such thing as a stupid question...."

New or used--"third party" books--not sold by Amazon, but via Amazon.

Thanks, Macbeth!
So, the credit card - that's really a check card, a debit card attached to a checking account but it also says "Visa" or "MasterCard" because you can use it like a credit card. Right?
And is there a problem if Amazon also happens to sell the book new itself? And does my son's book come under the "Used & New" category that comes with most books sold by Amazon?
Questions, questions......I apologize if I'm belaboring the point....

I was listing a lot of books that I know longer had interest in, I came across one that when I entered the ISB number it was worth ALOT of money. I share this has it can be great fun for your son, to pick up used books at tag sales and see what they are worth. Mine was a thin old natural child birth book, that sold instantly......have fun!

I think a regular MC or Visa work just as well.
If Amazon has the book listed as "New" your book will be listed as "new and used" on a link, with other new and used offers.
