Things I would like to give thanks and praise for:
1st- Our oldest son is home safe and sound for the next 2 weeks from Iraq. To have him home for Easter is such a blessing!! 
2nd - Our second oldest son will be graduating from college April 22. Our first homeschooling college grad!! (Our oldest son is currently working on his degree he should be done when he is through serving in the military he went to Benedictine college for 2 years before entering the Army)
And finally the best for last  May 19th will be our daughter's wedding/clothing day! She will be a Bride of Christ that day and will be wearing my wedding gown!!!! It will be just a few months shy of my dh and I 25th wedding anniversary!
As these 3 things are accruing so closely right now and during the season of Lent I have been doing a lot of reflecting on the past and I can proudly say that "Yes it does work!" Homeschooling has brought these first 3 children this far and has helped them to chose and know their vocations. I give thanks to God, his Holy Mother and to a wonderful family that set us on this path of homeschooling. It is a path of beauty, truth, and love.
So please rejoice with us on these happy things and give thanks to God for all he has done for us.

Jackie, this is just a beautiful posting!  I will gladly rejoice with you in the blessings that your children are.
I am practising my chants for choir at present and we are singing 'Sub Tuum' for this coming Saturday night. So I'll be singing it in the next 1/2hour or so and I'll offer it for you and your family.
(Sub Tuum is the oldest prayer to Our Lady, dates back to the 3-4 century and it is an ancient thanksgiving hymn.)
