Hello Ladies!
I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting a food question, so please forgive me if it's not!
I just received my new Pampered Chep cupcake pan, and am wanting to bake meatloaf cupcakes tonight to "season" it.
Has anybody made these before? I have a good meatloaf recipe...do I just need to adjust the temp and time? And to what?
Thankyou!
Warmly,
Christy

I saw Rachel Ray make these about two years ago. I tried it. They were very good and the kids got a big kick outta them. I think i cooked them for a shorter period of time.
Maybe it's on the Food Network recipe collection?

MEATLOAF MUFFINS WITH BBQ SAUCE
This is in my 8yo's *Cooking Rooks 30 minute meals for kids* -- I'm making sure my daughter knows how to cook at an early age, unlike me
This is for 6 "muffins" but it says 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
We have made them many times and they are pretty good!

And you can "ice" them with mashed potatoes.

I know Maryan! You should read all the ways I tried to "google" in the concept!
I'll check that out Alice!
Thankyou Mary and Paula!! Yummy!!!!!
Unfortunately, I just discovered my brandnew pan is cracked in a couple of places! I will have to return it,and wait a week or so before my new one arrives and I can try these out!
I'd love more ideas.....
God Bless,
Christy

I am laughing at your title too! I don't think you need to change the temperature, but I would probably bake them a shorter time, and check on them. This is the recipe I found on the Food Network. Rachael Ray's Recipe
The other thing you may take into account will be your oven, and how fast or slow it is. My oven is fast, and my stoneware speeds up the cooking a little bit more.
Let us know how they taste! That sounds like fun!

I've been making these for years. Same temp, but they'll cook up in about 15 minutes, so watch them carefully. Actually, in a PC stone, it might be closer to 20.
They're perfect for sandwiches the next day, too.

I have never heard of meatloaf cupcakes before! I always have trouble with my meatloaf cooking through. For some reason I am always off of the amount of time it takes to them to cook. Everything gets done and we end up waiting on the meatloaf. We love it but I don't make it often because of that reason. So... Meatloaf cupcakes sound like a great idea.

I tried the Rachael Ray recipe once and just did not like it a single bit. I think I threw them out and ordered pizza, which was such a bummer because it was a lot of work. I usually really like her recipes, but the veggies you put in the blender/food processor just ruined it to me. I'm not a huge meatloaf person, but maybe just try your usual recipe in the cupcake pan with less cooking time?
