Okay ladies tell me what you do now for your health that you didn't do, say 10 years ago

I need more sleep!

I have started working out and drinking more water

But what I am wondering about is what kind of vitamins and supplements do we need? What do you take that is more important now in this stage of life?

Also skin care. Lately I have notice that if I have a pimple come up after it "goes away" so to speak I am left with a dark spot. Anyone know what is up with that?

Please list any other health items that you can think of!

As to the pimple issue (can you believe that we're talking about pimples? It seems so *14*). Anyway -- yes, the pimple issue. What I have found works really well is when I see a pimple developing, I just put a dot of lavender essential oil on it with a Q-tip. Usually I do this a few times a day. And don't pick or squeeze the pimple -- that just bruises the area and for certain makes a long-lasting dark spot. Anyway, after a couple of days the silly pimple is gone and there is no dark spot left behind.

Something that I didn't do when I was younger but have been doing now is to take calcium with vitamin D three times a day.

I haven't spent a lot of money on health supplements until recently!

My next try is Limu (which is expensive). It is basically seaweed containing over 70 supplements. I'll let you know if it works.

I think I am premenapausal as my cycles have gone from a regular 28 days to anywhere for 23-17days. I like to go to bed at 7 pm because I'm so tired.

I get pimples too! And more if I indulge in chocolate with the kids.('')

Other than that, I like being over 40.('')

I take some Magnesium...I also try to eat what the non-diet people call from 0-5 which means eat only when hungry and stop at satisfied, and ofcourse drink more water (but let me just say that I don't often succeed at any of these...maybe we can have a support thread going here?)

I take more calcium and make sure that some of my workouts are strength focused - thinking of osteoropis (sp?) here...

I also am more disciplined about cleansing my face at night and about applying moisturizer and sunscreen....
