Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This is a little bit personal but I am very unsure about it all.
Does anyone experience this?? Mid-cycle(Ov)I experience great pain and discomfort. My moods are very unsettled. I also experience discomfort throughout the month when I'm not close to either parts of my cycle.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
God Bless

Yes. My mother gave it a German name, something like Meiddleschmirz. She could have totally made that up . But most of the time, until about 6 months ago, I knew when I was ovulating because I just could feel it. Not bad, but I could feel it. Must be getting old because I don't feel it anymore and we aren't getting pregnant either.

Same thing here - about feeling it mid-cycle. It's very likely you are feeling ovulation.

If it's just a mild amount of discomfort, you're probably fine; if it's any more than that, I'd look to diet and exercise type first, then to other environmental factors. See what can be modified. Especially if it's affecting mood....

For me, it was needing more omega-3s that helped with pain; and cutting ALL high fructose corn syrup that helped with the moods. I am working on further improvements, but these have worked miraculous changes for me

It's not made up! My doctor diagnosed me with it back when I was a teen...a little over 30 years ago! Here is a link from the Mayo Clinic describing mid-cycle pain. I had cysts on my ovaries back then, hence the pain when I was ovulating.

After my first pregnancy, the pain dissipated, so I'm not much help, other than to say check with your ob.

Thank you ladies for responding.
I know all the symptoms on ovulation as I have had to use NFP for a while and in the past Napro, these issues have become quite routine for me so it's definitely when I ovulate.
It has just become very painful, down my legs, lower back, and elsewhere. I thought it may be early signs of menopause. I'll look further into Meiddleschmirz. Maybe I'm just getting old .
It's certainly has become an occasion for penance and offering up, so I shouldn't complain. God is good.
