I've been using Clinique for as long as I can remember, mostly because of the hypoallergenic quality. Back when I started using it, it was one of the few product lines that could boast this. Now there are many. I've recently added their night cream to my regimen and I'm sad to say that after 3 months of use, have not noticed a speck of difference. I'm looking for a wrinkle reducer, age spot remover, make my skin look like it did 20 years ago miracle. What do you use and like? Thanks!

I started using Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair nearly one month ago. I use it both morning and night, in place of any other face moisturizer.I love that it comes in a bottle with a cute eye dropper.
I used it on the recommendation of a book, whose name ecapes me right now, and on rave user comments. I am starting to notice that my skin looks better ( in site of beng sick!). More, sort of, radiant . Or less wrinkled. Or something!

I have been wondering the same thing. I have used Clinique for years, also. I was a teen working in a dept store years ago and they put me behind the Clinique counter with no training to fill in for someone on vacation. All I was told then was that it was for young women and I wonder if that is still the case. It doesn't seem to do much for my sagging face and eyes these days. I have tried Oil of Olay and just the past couple of weeks L'Oreal Revita-Lift, which my dd says makes a difference?? It does a little but the face cream is scented and that bothers me. I asked my mother-in -law, who is a very young looking 78, for some advice, especially about my eyes and she said plastic surgery was the only way to correct that. She also uses vaseline on her face at night, which surprises me because I thought it clogged pores. I have heard of Co Q 10 creams and HA creams but I hate to spend anymore money without a good recommendation. My mom did have to have an eye lift but it was for medical reasons as it was interfering with her eyesight. I would love any ideas!

I went out the day I got bifocals and bought a bottle of Oil of Olay.
It's the only thing I've used in recent memory that wasn't aloe vera.
Don't you want to come to me for beauty advice??

I really like the DHC Skincare line. I've been using them for a couple of years, and am quite impressed with their products! They send free samples to try.
In particular I'm a fan of concentrated eye cream and the Ceramide Set.

Don't laugh. The thing that makes the biggest difference on my face is Aveeno Baby. It even manages to smooth that dry spot over the bridge of my nose. I've tried the expensive stuff and it just doesn't work. It's either too greasy, has a scent, or just doesn't work as well.

I use Oil of Olay moisturizer morning and night. I received Oil of Olay regenerist as a Christmas Gift (don't laugh, once, years ago I got a Richard Simmons workout video )
The regenerist comes packaged with two products. First you use this thick gritty gel and rub it over your face for a minute. Then there is a serum which you rub over the gritty stuff. I use it twice a week and it works great. Makes my skin feel like new! It really does temporarily minimze lines. But to maintain that, you need to use it a couple of times a week.
Another product I like is I think by bare minerals...I think its called skin revver-upper. You can just use it alone to wake up your skin , or use it under moisturizer and make-up. I like that too. It was also a gift! Yikes.

I use the oil of olay moisturizer.. mainly because that's all I need right now.. and was about the only one I could find that wasn't some special use cream or other.
When I was doing theatre a number of years ago, I took a class on stage makeup. But we also got tips on skin care (that makeup can be nasty to your skin)..
Don't rub around your eyes.. the skin is thin and you can cause line by pulling at it.. smooth the moisturizer on but don't *rub* it.. don't rub your face dry, don't rub your face so that you're pulling when you're cleaning etc.
And always use a moisturizer after you've washed your face (so after washing or after a shower etc) while your skin is still damp so that you trap moisture in the skin.
And stay hydrated.. if you're dehydrated your skin will show it. Generally that's half your body weight in oz.
so if you're 150lbs then you need 75 oz of water a day (that includes non caffinated and non carbonated beverages I think)
And you might need more with exercise and high temps.
