I just returned from the eye doctor and I need bifocals! 40 has hit hard to my body, I wonder if it adding any wisdom to the brain. After all that is what this forum claims....growing in wisdom over 40

I got bifocals this year, too. Turn 40, and downhill we go.

Somehow I escaped this at my last check-up (was sure I would be getting them), but 40 is not far away for me... probably next visit

I'm only 32 and wear bifocals... I will admit I don't wear them as I should...

I have had bifocals for several years (48 1/2). You can purchase some that are pretty attractive (at a cost of course)! Welcome to the club ...

I managed to put it off for one more year, phew! It was shocking enough for me to have to wear glasses for the first time in my life when I turned 40. My dh teased me a bit because he still wasn't wearing glasses then this year he went for his eye check up and went straight to bifocals...progressives to be technical. I told him that that was what he got for teasing me . BTW, I think he looks real handsome in them  .

A doc told me I needed bifocals too. He said I was okay for driving though so I'm making do with drug store reading glasses!
