I just had to share this with you all. My copy of the book arrived yesterday -- much earlier than predicted, so I'm able to start reading along with everyone.
Imagine my surprise when I found that the feast of St Louis de Montfort is on --- my birthday!
Just a little bit of encouragement from Our Lady!
(Today I discover that it's also the feast of St Gianna Molla. I'm getting quite chuffed with 28th April )

Sorry, it's a bit naff to comment on my own post, but I've just realised (doh!) that the book arrived on the 31st -- precisely when Helen suggested we all begin. I'd thought I was behind, but I'm not. Hooray!

Elizabeth, wow!! We're going to have to have an ongoing thread for our goosebumps moments!
Speaking of which...I just have to share this. Our house in Virginia has been on the market since July, with not so much as a nibble...until now. In the past week we got not one but TWO offers, and (I can hardly believe I am able to say this) the house is now under contract. We are hoping to close in March.
This week, of all weeks...goosebumps!

Great news Lissa! I'm sure this must be a big relief.
