Please say a prayer for me. My 30th birthday is tomorrow and my gift is that it falls on the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. I'm feeling called to rededicate myself to God on this anniversary of the commencement of Christ's ministry. The word consecration comes to mind and my clearest calling is as a mother, but I don't know much about this path you ladies are on. I'm returning to work on Ph.D. dissertation after my second maternity leave. I should be finished soon, and then, homeschool? I'm also reflecting on how my life has and hasn't changed since my own baptism less than three years ago. It makes the idea of consecration all the more intimidating... Thank you for sharing and letting me share here (though I'll also understand if this gets moved to the "We Pray" forum).
