Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Greetings! I am new here, and will post a short bio on "Fireside Chat"

Two of my children (dd age 11 and dd age 12) are interested in learning to make perfume. Could anyone give me....a complete novice!....recommendations on how to do this simply, what materials I would need, etc.?

Many Thanks!!

Welcome, Benedicta. Perfume making sounds like a fun project and with all the different crafts I have dabbled in I have to say this is one I have never tried. I know there are some kits out there - like this one - Perfume Science Kit. I really think I have seen a smaller one from Hearthsong, but currently nothing is showing up on their site. This is a book that I imagine would be helpful - Perfumes, Splashes, and Colognes. I have the candle making and soap making versions from the same publisher. I love them. They are wonderful so I'll bet this one is, too.
