Tuesday--Pork Roast with onion, celery, carrots
Wednesday--Bean Soup
Thursday--Spaghetti
Friday--Tuna Casserole of some kind of configuration
Saturday--Lentil, Split Pea and hamburger soup.
Sunday--Leftovers

Wonderful weather, isn't it?
Last night we had pork chops, roasted potatoes and salad. I also made a TON of caramel corn for "dessert," and we took some to each of our neighbors, to get them through the shoveling!
Tonight, Monday, we are having "spaghetti" sauce, but with rigatoni (my boys like rigatoni better." I can't eat the sauce, so I am making roasted broccoli and having the pasta with a low-fat alfredo sauce.
Tuesday is our "pizza" night.
Wednesday: Chicken soup and hot sandwiches.
Thursday: Beef roast, potatoes, and carrots in crockpot for the guys. I will probably go with a light dinner of left-over soup and greek yogurt.
Friday: Pierogi and salad.
Saturday: Kielbasa and French fries. I will probably make a meat-less chili for myself. Salad for all.
Sunday: Roasted chicken, wild rice, green beans, and apple pie for dessert.

Our weather is finally warming up, actually! Yikes, it was a rough week last week. I didn't leave the house for three days it was so cold out.
On the menu for this week:
M-T - beef stew in the crockpot with a homemade oatmeal bread
W-Th - shepherd's pie
F - probably homemade pizza
S - Going to a birthday party for my mom. I'm brining beef stew, but they'll be lots of food to choose from.

It's too cold to go grocery shopping, so it's whatever I can scrap together week. We had leftovers tonight. I did make Venison stew yesterday and we had that for lunch today and some of us might have it for lunch again tomorrow. It was perfect for the weather. I may make it again as I have more ingredients. I'm afraid that my family may want to get rid of me after this week, but I don't see getting out until Thursday and there is food in the house but not much for meal making. At this point I may serve PB&J.

I ran out to get groceries this morning...it was 44 degrees then...it's 13 now and the temps are still falling!
Today: Tortellini with tomato sauce (portable food for a busy dance night!)
Tuesday: Lentil soup with chicken, Moroccan-style
Wednesday: Retrieving Dancing Daughter's BFF from western Maryland. I predict Chik-Fil-A.
Thursday: It's Dancing Daughter's birthday (sweet 16!) and she, of course, has dance. We'll probably try to squish in an early dinner out with her BFF.
Friday: As yet unplanned (don't know BFF's departure time). If she is here for dinner, we'll probably have baked pasta, homemade bread and green beans. If not, we might skip the bread...I have a new bread machine and it is giving me fits!
Weekend: Chicken noodle soup, for sure, on one of the days. On the other, perhaps jambalaya - I have a good crockpot recipe.

I'll be back next week - I hope - with a plan .

I think I'm cooking a turkey today. I just need to figure out when to start it.

mmmmm I figured it out good.. and managed baked stuffing (I like it a bit crisp and not soggy from the bird) and mashed potatoes and green beans and I heated up some canned cranberry sauce with a bit of OJ and that was good. I even had some olives in the pantry to add to the table.
And I used the last jar of homemade turkey broth. Perfect timing, I'll use the carcass and make a big batch of broth tomorrow.
