Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We just renovated our kitchen and bought new stainless steel appliances. I can't figure out how to keep them clean though. When I clean them they end up with streaks and when they aren't cleaned they have kiddo fingerprints all over them. Help! What you use to clean them and how often?

Thanks!

I just use rubbing alcohol for stainless steel ~ works great! The small alcohol wipes sold in the diabetic section of any pharmacy are inexpensive and useful for quick cleanups. If you're dealing with a big food mess on something like a stove top, just clean with soapy cloth first, dry, then do a quick buff with an alcohol wipe. I think there are SS appliance cleaners that polish and help lessen fingerprints, but I don't have experience with them. HTH

I have a microfiber cloth (actually, a set of 2, one for cleaning, one for finishing) that is made for stainless. Mine is e-cloth, but I've seen other similar ones.

I have found two things that work great. I'll have to find the name of the one spray.

But one installer said to use Commercial Pledge with microfiber cloth. It works really well.

Pledge - yes!

Also - had good luck with micro fiber cloth and Olive oil!

I clean mine with just my regular soap water or vinegar/dish soap cleaning spray. Then I polish them with stainless steel polishing wipes I purchased.

This Carbona Stainless is small but works really well. That and Commercial Pledge are my favorites.

silly question - but is "commercial pledge" different then the pledge found at most grocery stores?

Yes, you can find it at hardware stores or big box Lowes or Home Depot.
