Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone mailed cookies with success? If so do you have any tips? or pointers?
I am thinking of making some ginger bread cookies, and mailing a few out at Christmas time. Yes, I realize it is the end of July right now, but I hand make our cards etc, and need to start thinking about these things....

For something like a gingerbread cookies (talking roll and cut?) you'll probably need to package them individually with tissue so that they won't break. You could do this with small gift boxes (like for clothing items) and then pack more than one in a shipping box.

I might try this. It is just an idea running through my head and would make an awful lot of work... But I just thought it would be such a nice idea. I came across a book by Tasha Tudor the other day, that I bought for all of 10 cents!!!!!! YES!!!!
And it has her Christmas gingerbread cookie recipe in it, and was thinking of incorporating that into the season and what I send out.....
I will have to really think about it. Maybe I should make felt ones and enclose them instead!

Oh felt ones would be fun too.

And something I discovered is that people who typically dislike gingerbread and gingerbread cookies, it's because of the molasses in them. I started making my gingerbread cookies with dark corn syrup instead and everyone loves them.

Pringles cans. They protect a stack of cookies like nothing else.
