Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My ds was helping with yard waste and the can tipped. He pushed the wet, rotting grass back in with his bare hands. Any ideas on how to get the smell off his hands?

Anita

Update - Right after I posted I remembered I had gardener's soap and odor-neutralizing soap. He used those and now it's gone. Yay

So glad you figured out what to do Anita! The only thing I could think of is lemon juice, but that could sting if your ds had even the smallest cut. So fortuitous that you had both soaps on hand!

coffee is a natural deodorizer.. homemade soaps can be made with it and it works well.

I meant to say, so if lacking a coffee soap.. you could probably use cold (warm) coffee along with soap (dip cloth in coffee rub on the soap) to wash with.
