Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can we start a discussion about where to order food online and what to order? I've been frustrated lately by our inability to actually get to the grocery store. Actually -- that's not entirely true. What I'm frustrated about is our inability to get to multiple stores. Because of food sensitivities and a desire to eat more organic/pastured meats/wild-caught seafood, etc., it's hard for us to just go to *one* store locally. (Although I suppose we could do all our shopping at Whole Foods while supplementing with bulk meat purchases from local farms, it would cost us an arm and a leg!)

Currently I'm ordering some things -- sunbutter, GF pasta, GF flours, and coffee -- from Amazon subscribe and save, but... I've had some trouble recently with them sending me the wrong thing. They'll refund the money, but they won't take it back, and apparently there's a glitch in the system, because the next month the same wrong thing comes.

I've also become aware of Green Polka Dot Box. The reviews I've seen of them are favorable, but I'm not sure exactly how some of their prices compare.

I also do order sometimes from US Wellness Meats, but usually only if I can order quite a lot on sale + volume discounts. Their quality is fantastic, but most of their meat is just out of our price range. If you can buy their grassfed ground beef in large enough quantities, though, it will be cheaper than it would be if you bought it at the store... but not cheaper than it would be if you bought a side of beef from a local farmer.

Anywhere else? We do get some of our produce and dry goods from a coop (Bulk Natural Foods, if you live in an area where they deliver... Jen, I wonder if you know about them? I've been really happy with their service, and their drop-off point is about 5 minutes away.)

I would also love to hear if you order any odder things online... we've been hunting for chili paste lately and not finding it. And I would love to find a decent and cheaper source of coconut aminos. (They actually seem to be cheaper at Whole Foods - $6.69 a bottle at ours.) I can't eat soy and we love Asian food!
