Help! Help!

I HATE my all white, tile shower. I fight with it constantly, trying to keep it clean. I usually have to resort to bleaching it , which is my unfavorite thing to do.

How do you clean your shower? How often? Is it low or high maintenance?
Any tips?

I have tried spraying it daily with tile cleaner, using a "magic" cleaning cloth with silver ions (or something equally dubious) in it that I bought at Walmart, using squeegie every day to wipe it down, etc.

I am all out of ideas and patience

I have the all-white tile, too, for all my walls and floor, although the shower floor is different. My husband just regrouted the whole shower this past year. Before that, there was constant mildew growth, which has definitely been less.

I don't clean too often. I do use the Magic Eraser to wipe down the shower door and walls to get the build-up off. I periodically spray with the Tilex or some kind of bleach and leave it. I don't scrub or do hands on with the bleach. Just spraying and shutting it all closed with the fan on usually does the trick.

The bottom of our shower is the plastic bottom which needs most maintenance, scrub brush with some abrasive periodically.

I know the chemical way isn't what you wanted to hear, but I cannot stand mold or mildew and want to kill it when I see it.

Well one more idea to try.. once it's clean.. try using a car wax on the walls (NOT on the floor ) it's supposed to make cleaning it much easier.. and considering my experience with flooring when it loses it's finish.. it will make a big difference.. just remember to maintain the wax it won't be a one time and it's done.. but reapply the wax probably every time you give it a good cleaning.. or you'll be back to scrubbing it down again.

Melinda
I have just found the 'magic' solution
Found via pinterest from a Martha Stewart site. One cup of bi-carb, 1 teaspoon of liquid soap/dishdrops and water to make a paste.

My showers had yellow scum and mold all came off with a good scrub!!! I raved about it for days to anyone who would listen, so easy!!
