Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We got one from Sears. It is a dual oven. A small regular one, and the full size convection. LOVE the convection. Love the small stove, heats fast. I got the ceramic top, and I hate that, but over all happy with it. Nice to have the extra oven space :) especially with cooking for 10 during the week.

We got a convection oven two years ago, with the ceramic top. I love the convection for cooking dinners quickly, or cooking two items at the same time. Although I haven't tried it, I know it says in the manual that baking foods that rise (i.e. cakes, cookies, breads) with the convection method, isn't recommended. And I totally second Mommy4ever about the ceramic top! I soooo wish we had done a regular coil type of burner top! The ceramic is already scratched and dulled in one place, and there is a lot of cookware that can't be used on it, like cast iron, or anything that doesn't have a smooth, flat bottom.
Oh and ours is a Frigidaire Gallery that we got from Lowe's. Here's the link
HTH!

Thanks for the info. I am not real keen on the ceramic top but one of the things wrong with my stove is the coil burners. Broken uneven etc. Unfortunately gas isn't really an option.    Annie

Rachel the link doesn't show anything???

We have a GE Profile stand alone convection oven (in wall). It came with the house and I absolutely love it. It has a regular bake mode and a convection mode. I always use convection and just lower both temperature and cooking time on whatever I am making. So far everything I've made has turned out great, or at least no worse than it would in a regular oven.
