Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The Ulitmate Muffin Book

Since giving up most cereals for breakfast, I have become a muffin-making machine . There are so many different kinds, and you can put so many good things in them.

I have been on a kick trying different muffin cookbooks from the library.
A few weeks ago I found The Ultimate Muffin Book. This has been by far and away my favorite muffin book so far. I made the carrot muffins, the oatmeal muffins and the gingersnap muffins. These muffins have blown away my other recipes... and that's even with substituting whole wheat flour for regular.

Anyone else have a great muffin book or recipe to share?

Excellent, I've been feeling a pinch for the grocery budget, I think muffins are a perfect solution to break the monotony of oatmeal.

I just reserved it at the library :)

Thank you Melinda for sharing this wonderful recipe book with us!
And thanks mommy4ever for the idea of borrowing it from the library - I just did too:)

Looking forward to doing some baking with my kids!
