Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Before having my dc, I had a career with a somewhat impressive resume in my profession. I have done very little work in my profession since having children but need to update my resume. It looks odd with so few entries for the last few years. Wondering if anyone here has been through this. I am trying to determine if and how I should include mother/ homeschool teacher or something like that. If so, any suggestions on wording, etc.?

In what type of industry/field/profession did you work, previously? If you can relate your work/skills as mother/educator to what you're doing, then I would definitely include it...especially if you have (or can come up with) a cool sounding name for your homeschool!

I went through this last year for a temp job at the health dept. (RN) I did have a good "older" work resume/cv which I left with just the career stuff. but it was during the interview that I used my HS Mom work to show how it would help me cope with various situations. I did get the job. and now I can update the resume Annie
