I have one of these in my dining room. It's beautiful and I love it, but after five years it's very, very dusty. I have tried the brush attachment with the vac and I have tried compressed air and neither really works. Any other ideas? Do I dare take the garland off the light fixture and soak it in something? What would I soak it in?

Oh my, that is gorgeous! ... I haven't any idea how you'd clean it . Soaking it is probably the only way to truly rid it of all the dust, but gosh, it also looks so very delicate. Have you tried a good old fashioned feather duster? (although, now a'days I don't think they use real feathers, but something synthetic).
Wish I could be of more help! It's lovely!

I would put it in the shower. spray it with glass cleaner until it's dripping off.. do a quick rinse and drip dry.

I was thinking feather duster also. I'd take it outside first and feather dust it.

Could you contact the company? They might have some suggestions.

I like the shower idea. But if it is really delicate you might just have to take a damp soft cloth and wipe it down, one leafy vine at a time! Might be a good project if you have an older kid who wants to help!

not sure if this would work or not, but I've done this with things that have a lot of "parts"-- put it in a big trash bag with a bunch of salt and shake well.

Salt in a bag followed by a spray-down in the shower worked well. Thanks for all the ideas, everyone!
