Help! My dd wants to learn how to use a sewing machine, so I thought I would get her a book (or a kit) for Christmas. I actually own a sewing machine, but... I don't know how to use it. Does anyone have any suggestions for books that would help my dd learn, me to supervise... etc.?

Angela you might get more "bang for your buck" by looking into a class.. check with the local fabric stores, places that sell machines, repair shops etc.
