Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We went to the beach a few weeks ago and brought back fresh Royal Red shrimp, scallops, and oysters. Since this might be the last time we get to eat fresh Gulf seafood for a decade or more , we want to really enjoy it. I already have some recipes in mind, but I wanted to see what wonderful seafood recipes 4Real's members had before starting up the stove or grill. We typically do not eat pasta, but we're open to pouring sauces over salads or rice.

My all time favorite shrimp recipe.. sooo yummy.

Spicy Lemon Shrimp
3/4 cup Butter
3/4 cup margarine
4 Cloves Garlic -- Chopped
2 Tablespoons Rosemary -- Chopped
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 Teaspoons Tabasco Sauce
3 Tablespoons cracked Black Pepper
2 Teaspoons Salt
3 Pounds Large Shrimp
2 Lemons thinly sliced
2 Loaves French Bread -- Sliced

Directions
Preheat oven to 400*
Melt butter/margarine in pan
remove from heat
add garlic, rosemary, worcestershire sauce and tabasco. Season with salt and pepper.
Place shrimp in shallow baking dish, pour butter mixture over.
add lemon slices in and around shrimp.
Bake shrimp for 20-25 minutes, turning over halfway through. Serve in the baking dish with the bread to mop up the butter mixture.
