For me anyway. I cannot stand tights or even leggings. They always bind me at the waist and make my legs itch like crazy. I finally made myself some pantaloons and they are fabulous! They were very easy to make (took me all of a few hours with cutting, sewing and interruptions) and now I can finally keep my legs warm. I have made flannel backed satin slips before but these are even better at keeping me warm and not adding bulk under my skirts.

oh what a nice idea.. I use silk long underwear and buy them big so they are loose as well.
