Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It is a rare occasion indeed when I have anything to say about craft...so I am going to enjoy this moment .............................still enjoying...........................

OK then...my ds and I just finished with our first batch of faux sea glass. In short, you put glass into your rock tumbler with water and sand and...voila...faux sea glass in 2 days! Our next batch is in now and we'll keep this one in for 3 days and after that we may try even longer.

I have always loved sea glass (simply elegant, natural, pretty) and...some of you may remember me asking for help with filling in a glass candle holder...well that's what got me thinking about filling it with sea glass. Can't afford the real thing. Can't find the fake stuff here. Made it ourselves with the new rock tumbler that my ds received for Christmas!

What do you do with sea glass?

Love,

Angie, I am impressed! Sea glass is expensive! Nice alternative!
