Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

brand new cotton sweaters. I have alwasy washed my sweaters in cold water, then lay them out to dry. After a year or two, the cotton seems to get hard and stiff. So, I was wandering if anyone has a better way of washing your sweaters.

God Bless
Robynn

Perhaps you are using too much detergent. I find that things don't feel as nice if there is a detergent buildup. Also, perhaps you would want to try tumbling them in the dryer for a while, that might help soften them.
