Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Check out this gorgeous book ... Fairy Tale Knits ... gorgeous stuff ...

and, here's one of the patterns ... FREE! The coat is gorgeous and sounds like it'd be perfect for a little girl for Christmas! I don't know if I'd knit it in alpaca -- maybe a nice wool/acrylic blend or a washable wool? There's also a pattern for a cute hat that looks like a crown -- and this could be made for either boys or girls!

Looks like some folks will be getting hand-knits this year!

Well at least I suggested non-alpaca -- but wouldn't that be glorious?

Actually I have a good bit of alpaca I need to spin, it is black, however, and I am thinking red for Zelie.
I can dye some of our angora wool red, and read, A New Coat for Anna, and call it a lesson day. The fiber arts are so addictive, I can "twist" it to be school anyday

Seriously, that crowns is a must, that will be endless hours of dress up fun!
