Can anyone point me to a site that helps with making a "master list" or inventory of kitchen/household supplies?

I'd like to be able to see at a glance what/how much I have on hand of various items, so that I can easily keep everything rotated and know how much of each item I should buy as they go on sale. It seems that over the last year, the things that I bought 'extra' while on sale didn't get used within a reasonable expiration period and we wound up throwing a lot away. In the end, this isn't saving money.
