I have some beautiful material that would be perfect to make a Mass bag with. I envisage my little ones carrying books, holy cards, beads etc in these bags. Does anyone have any suggestions of designs? Patterns or websites to direct me to?

What gorgeous fabric! How much do you have? I've used these instructions to make really cute, easy bags-

Lazygirldesigns

These bags are 10" wide by 11" deep and you get two bags out of 2/3 a yard of fabric. You could easily make them smaller though. She uses ribbon as the handles and that might be a handy way to tell whose bag is whose... Please post a pic when you are done.

I always want our Mass bags to be able to stand up on their own....so a flat bottom with sides that are stiff enough to do this.
