Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What do you use?? We have some Rubbermaid ones that don't shut. They drive me crazy!! The ones at Costco don't seem a lot better. I would like some that can go in the freezer too.

Any suggestions?

Our Ziplock plastic containers seem to hold up pretty well. I also like my lidded ceramic casserole dishes for storing leftovers in the fridge. For the freezer, I usually just use foil-lined aluminum pans, plastic freezer bags, and yogurt/sour cream containers. Works so far, though I would love more options large enough to store whole meals (like a pan of enchiladas) in the freezer.

I use mason jars almost exclusively now, even in the freezer. I have a foodsaver vacuum sealer that has a mason jar attachment, so I'm able to really seal them well and prevent freezer burn.
