Hello. Would anyone be able to recommend a nutritious child's recipe book? One with a Catholic/Christian slant would be most welcome.
Thank you.

Try the The Old Schoolhouse Magazine in their home-economics section. CHC sells one called "Mother's Little Helper."

I must have a different edition, but I like this cookbook Look and Cook
It doesn't have a Christian slant or anything, but it is very sweet.
I have had her gardening book, Sow and Grow, on my wishlist for a while.

I LOVE this book. It is the sweetest cooking book for children - not syrupy, full of cartoons sweet--more vintage, charming sweet. All of her books are the same way...and I have them all! I can't recommend them highly enough. I have Sow and Grow as well as See and Sew. All are an absolute delight and very practically helpful!
I have some more thoughts on cookbooks for the younger set, but I'm out of linking time right now...so I'll link you to a St. Martha's Apron Strings post on Tending the Kitchen. If you scroll down, I list several of my favorites - with Look and Cook being listed. Tea and Cake with the Saints is written by a Catholic homeschooling mom and does have some delightful treasures of recipes as well as tea ideas - all with a Catholic perspective and focus! It's a MUST to consider, but I don't see it in stock anywhere and I'm sorry I don't have time to hunt right now - try Amazon used, or ebay? If I have time to hunt I'll try to come back and drop in a link or two.

Here are some great cookbooks we use and really like. Most are secular but are great for beginning chefs!

I thought there was an old thread with lots of cookbook ideas for kids (since I remembered psoting to it) and I just found it (in the Math forums!).
