Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been waiting all week to make this one: Spicy Thai Shrimp Bisque! It's from the Junior League of Seattle cookbook, Celebrate the Rain and looks so delicious--shrimp, lime, coconut, thai curry paste, YUM! Have no clue what to serve with it...

I am stuck. We have so much happening today that I have to make a decision within the next couple of hours and pre-cook the meal. Sigh.

Hoping for inspiration from the rest of you!

We're making beef and broccoli with some stir-fried soba noodles for the family. I'm going to a dinner at church, so I have to take something. It's a Hawaiian theme. Any ideas?

We're making pizza--I got the Boboli crusts from the store and the kids will help do the rest--nothing fancy, I have cheese and pepperoni, maybe black olives.   I have garlic breadsticks to go with it, and I'll probably slice up some red peppers and cucumbers and serve them with ranch dressing to dip.

scratch that.. I did get to the store and couldn't resist the fried chicken from the deli my excuse is that dh is likely to be late tonight but no telling how late and fried chicken is good cold.

I'd save the ravioli for a night he'll be here when it's cooked.

I couldn't figure out what to do with those chicken thighs. I ended up having bake barbequed chicken, noodles, and broccoli. I needed to give some safe leftovers since I'm leaving for retreat tomorrow morning.
