Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Low Carb Slow Cooker Recipes

I'm thinking about ordering this cookbook. The reviews look mostly ok, but I was wondering if anyone here has it or any other of her books? I'm weary of buying recipe books and not using them much. I find I'm gravitating to my crock pot more and more these days and my old Fix It and Forget It book uses too many cream of x y or z recipes or has too many carbs for us.

Thanks, Suzanne. That's it. One of these days I am going to have to learn how to do that.

I'll take care of the pm box asap. Thanks for the head's up.

Well, I think I have all of her cookbooks. When we moved and I cleaned out books, I didn't get rid of any of these, so I guess that says something. When I trying to go low carb I definately use these and I always love a crock pot cookbook. One of my favorite recipes is from that book, Chicken Chili Verde.

I would say it's pretty good. If you can get it at the library first that would be great, but if not I don't think you would be very disappointed.

Well, that's encouraging! I need to use my crock pot more often, just for survival...
