Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am trying to eat out of the pantry and freezer this week. Tonight will be some chicken sausages on the grill, roasted taters, salad and mixed veggies.

Wow, I'm kinda impressed with myself for coming up with a yummy sounding menu!

Turkey meatballs with roasted carrots and onions...I think. Those homemade rolls sound pretty good...maybe I can make it to Melissa's house by dinner time!

We're having tacos and salad. I might do some sort of spanish rice to go with it, I haven't decided yet. I suppose it will depend on how fussy the baby is around dinner time.

Whole chicken thrown in the crock pot with spices, that world's best broccoli recipe that I can't remember the real name of (but it was shared here), and salad - half from our garden! Probably something else, too, because we don't have a whole lot of broccoli.

We are having Moussaka, sauteed peppers, onions, and mushrooms, salad and bread.

Amy, garden fresh salad sounds wonderful!

Now I am rethinking. Morning schedule was derailed by a security clearance interview (for a friend's background check); interviewer got lost and we're just now starting school. I may swap for crockpot mac and cheese or another easy dinner.

That is such a good idea, Mary Chris. I've read some article on this topic recently. The idea appeals to me. Just having trouble implementing.

We're having spaghetti and rolls at Annie's request. She wants to cook again.
