Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am hoping I am posting this is the right place..
I am host for our Little Flowers meeting next week.
Our topic is industry and our saint is St. Francis Xavier Cabrini. I have racked my brain, and the internet    , for game and craft ideas for the girls.
We have a young group with the oldest girl being 8 and the rest about 6, the youngest is 3(and she does so well ).
If anyone has any suggestions for games or crafts for next week they would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Anne

I am in charge of this saint for our little flowers month...so I will be watching for what others post...and what you end up doing.

My "idea" list that I have started are:
Making a thank you cards for Daddy.
Make a travel map of all the places where the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart have been or are currently. Let the girls put the push pins in to find all the countries/towns.
Do a little study on China to see what might have attracted St. FCX to it.
Perhaps have a little dress up time of immigrant clothes from the different people groups that came to America and their children became orphans in Chicago and NYC.
This is still a working list for me as I have until November to plan!

Thanks for your ideas, Marcia. I thought of the thank you card, also--well, I saw it in the book. That would probably be the best/easiest for this age range. The dress up would be a blast but I would have a hard time putting it together for Friday.
Good luck next month,
Anne

Oh, oh, got a great idea today and wanted to leave it here to help someone else.
DD and I were brainstorming ideas for the virtue of industry and she mentioned we should all work together and prepare our snack. So, we might all make pita pizza's or roll meats and make a deli type tray.
