Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am looking for a couple of bookstands to display pages in books we'll be using next year (Museum ABC, for one).

Where can I buy a nice one? Is wood better than plastic? Could I get one at Target or Walmart, and where in the store would they be?

I don't want to spend 45 minutes in Walmart looking all over the store for one, you know? It seems like stuff like that is always in a place I never would have thought to look- and asking an employee isn't always helpful.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

My husband has this book stand from Levengers. He used it to study for comprehensive exams (full-time reading for a whole year) and now it holds a dictionary open near the dinner table. I know that Target sells book stands in the kitchen aisle but I don't remember the pricing. Kitchen stores often have them for cookbooks.
