Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How do you save/preserve special correspondence? I have several letters from dear friends, some who have died, family, a few from legislators and bishops who I have exchanged letters with regarding issues near and dear to my heart. Some of the letters I would like to pass down to my children but as of right now, the letters are stored in the bottom of my drawer, the filing cabinet, some still sit on my desk...

What do you do?

My sister has added some to her scrapbooks. Just slipping onto a page and into a protector.. nothing fancy.. but you could add a picture of the person too.

A really big old Christmas cookie tin. There's probably something better for which to preserve treasures.
