Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Stew is on the menu here tonight. What could be better on a snowy day?

Thanks for the reminder! I was going to make chicken but I think, in honor of Dr. Suess's birthday, we might do green eggs, ham and biscuits. If it wasn't Lent, I would totally have fun making a Dr. Suess cake, but since we have given up treats, we will probably just play our favorite Dr. Suess game.

Hamburgers and fries! Pretty enough to grill even if it is cold.

Possible change of plans...dh might get stuck at work, and if that happens we will have turkey Italian sausage, pasta and peperonata instead.

Beef enchiladas, rice, and baby carrots--we're still using up the postpartum freezer stash.
