Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Sorry to be starting this thread so late in the morning, well for us in the Eastern Time Zone at least. My parents arrived late last night so we have been catching up this morning.

As for dinner, I have no idea!!!! I'll have to talk to my mom and see what she would like. Maybe you ladies will provide us with some inspiration.

We are having Vietnamese River Cobbler with Chesapeake Bay seasoning from Penzey's Spices, rice and a salad. The dc will be having fish sticks and chips.

For breakfast we had American pancakes.

Lunch was the Ultimate Grill Cheese sandwich and crisps.

It's my son's 9th birthday and the requested dinner is tacos along with a white birthday cake with chocolate icing.

I think we have some tilapia in the freezer, will probably serve it with kale or broccoli and some sort of potatoes... or maybe that quinoa that I've been contemplating but haven't gotten up the nerve to try yet.

We have so many leftovers (dh usually takes them but had 2 official lunches this week) and dd will be gone. That means it's leftover night. Chinese five-spice chicken, mango/curry port roast, rice, pasta, green beans...we have zucchini and/or salad available, too. I've been working on the pasta leftovers for my own lunches.

I picked up the Panko breaded tilapia at Costco today so we'll have that, rice and peas and corn.
