Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK, I'm slow when it comes to the technological world.

I am just starting to look at this. I am having a terrible time keeping up with photos. I really like real albums to hold and keep, and I hate that digital photos never seem to get *off* the computer. But I am intrigued at the idea that I could literally drag and drop photos onto a premade page and create an entire album in an afternoon and have it printed.

I'm wondering about the cost of printing, and if the pages look weird since its all on photo paper.

If you do digital scrapbooking, do you like it? Can you recommend particular software?

No info from me, but I am *SO* glad you asked this, as I was thinking the same thing. Now that almost all our pics are digital, I just don't seem to do as much scrapbooking - - you're right - the poics pretty much stay on the computer or back-up discs, and that is it... - and the digital scrapbooking looks like something I would enjoy - once I got the hang of it.

It is the "getting the hang of it" part that concerns me.

Oh, I hope people who do this will chime in with their favorite programs, etc!!!

Well, I received Adobe Photoshop Elements for Christmas, and I have to say I absolutely love it.
The learning curve has been kind of steep, but that might just be me.

I haven't had anything printed yet, but I've researched and it looks like Costco is very popular, and online places like Shutterfly. When I'm ready, I'll probably have mine done at Sam's Club (no Costco here). Obviously, I can't comment on how it looks when printed, but I imagine it's pretty similar to any picture. You can even get a 3d effect by using shadows.

There are lots of places to get free digital scrapbooking downloads, but you need to invest in a program like Adobe Photoshop Elements. If you don't want to buy a program you can also do stuff online at places like Scrapblog. I believe you can print from that site as well.

I'd be happy to try and answer any other specific questions that you have.
