Meatloaf is in the oven.

I was thinking of putting a topping on it. I know some people use ketchup, some use tomato sauce...

I use tomato sauce.. sometimes with a nice sprinkle of seasoning like Thyme or Basil.. I really like thyme with beef.

But my kids love it best when I serve it leftover, sliced and broiled with a slice of cheese on top.

Mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and a little garlic powder. Sounds weird, but it's really yummy.

Peace,
Nancy

My mom used to put ketchup and a small piece of bacon on top. We liked it then and my kids like it, also.

The males here all drown it in hot sauce. (I don't THINK it's a reflection on my meatloaf.)
