Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have any good recipes, or suggestions, for this type of steak, that requires only everyday ingredients? Bbq recipes are fine, but I'm out of propane, so it's stove top or oven. I'm certainly not known for wonderful steaks...can anyone help?
TIA!! (ps - any advice for not overdoing meat would be appreciated...my meats are almost always a little overdone...)

I cook from scratch, so don't have exact measurements, but you can work off of this. It's my hubby's favorite.

Dill Stroganoff

In a skillet, add a tablespoon or two of olive oil.
Dice an onion, add to skillet, cook a few minutes until onion is starting to soften. Add a couple cloves of garlic, salt and pepper to taste, and a couple teaspoons of dill weed (or to taste--I usually use about a tablespoon).

Cut steak into strips, about an inch or less wide, and 2-3" long (or cube them, or whatever size you like). Put in skillet, and cook until no longer pink. Add a large container of sour cream, mix thoroughly, and serve as soon as the sour cream sauce is warm. Serve over egg noodles, or mix together with noodles before serving.

Of course you could do it plain, without the dill weed, but my DH and son really like it with the dill.
