Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Ladies , I am attempting to post moccassin instructions on our Homeschool blog
I've never done this online before but thought it might be fun . I've posted a pic of toddler moccassins . I intend to make a pair for grandson 2yo out of an old suede jacket my sil gave us . Just to let you know if you want bead work at all on them it is best to do it beforehand .So if you are wanting beads go buy some now
I hope this works out . Lov Rox

Thanks Trish
I posted the pattern peices today and a basic list of items needed .
I'm dealing with a bad foot infection so moving rather slowly but things like moccassins would normally be made over the long slow winter
I'll try and cut the actual leather pieces tomorrow and begin beadwork on the weekend , Rox

I will finish up the moccassins this weekend . Today posted the lining and sewing the tongue to the foot .
I have now realized the moccassins will be to small for my grandson they would be perfect for a newly walking baby etc.
I have no baby on the way unfortunately so I got the idea to offer this pair up as give away . giveaway is also a aboriginal thing so it seems appropriate
so I am thinking to have people e-mail me thier names for a draw . The kids and I will put all the names on pieces of paper and drop them into a hat . We'll have a draw say two weeks after the post of the draw and send off the pair to the winner . postage included of course they'll be so light I can semnd them via manila envelope
This has been fun .I'm thinking on doing a roti workshop next . Mostly to ease my roti craving

We now have one full moccassin finished
   size is for a small toddler 1yo maybe a small 2yo .
Will post when we have both moccassins finished and start the draw
the boys did make wonton soup today and that worked out . Cooking as a craft now that we can handle

Oh good!
I've learned a few things from your pictures!
I must put in Brendan's name for those moccasins.
