Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

...today. How cute they are! I confess to being stumped on how to turn them into saint wee folk since I am a convert (my excuse) and don't always know the symbols that go with the saints...so our first ones are just generic winged folkart fairies. Still, since I am extremely craft challenged, I am excited that I pulled this off!

In the kit was this curly hair stuff that we wound around my fingers, tied a knot in and then cut to make hair. What is that stuff called? I'd like to get more of it for making future hair on fairies?

Books--Is it wool roving? Was it in a ball and kind frizzy? If so that's what it is. You can order it from many of the same suppliers that sell the kits, and I have also found it at Hobby Lobby.

It was very fuzzy, but because it was a little kit, it wasn't in a ball so much as about 10-12 little circles to unwind? That would be awesome if I could find it locally (will check Hobby Lobby). I hate paying shipping for something that weighs nearly nothing...
