Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

As usual, I am a day late and a dollar short. I have tended to ignore past topics on bread making because it wasn't where "I was" at the time. Now I am there. And my search function doesn't work on my computer.

What I need is a recipe, preferably bread machine as I can't knead dough because of my eczema, for plain old white sandwich bread (maybe a white/wheat mix). The price of the "cheap" bread is getting out of hand and we don't have an outlet store anywhere close.

Thanks!

We use the Amish Bread recipe from Tammy's recipes.com. Dh and children love it and it is a nice, soft, high-rising loaf, more like store bread than the "artisan" loaves I have inflicted on them before

For sandwich bread I like a bit of milk in the recipe, if your eczema can take the dairy.

Thanks! I will give it a try both ways.
