Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Yes, he is Filipino (though I think born and raised here). We wish he was nearby!

I wrote about him and his show here.

Last Friday we had our parish vicar over for dinner; he's from Baltimore, and was just ordained last year. We asked if he knew Fr. Leo. He does!!! Small world indeed.

I know Fr. Leo. He's Filipino, but he was raised in the Baltimore area. He did not go to Steubenville. He's the director of pastoral field education for Mt. St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitburg, MD presently; he moved to this position in July of last year.

looks like he was born in Philipines. He was at the North American College in Rome, and Mount St Mary's Emmitburg (where our former vicar general just moved to!) . This, coupled with what I can find on his blog, makes me think he is one solid Priest!
can't wait to check out some recipes...

I couldn't find his show on the PBS site, nor on my DVR search. Did they drop it? Has anyone seen the show? Has anyone bought his book?

Jenn, I think he's still in need of funding for more episodes.
